This collaboration of local artists challenged each other to depict what they enjoyed most about the valley. The view looking down Kinbasket Lake and Canoe Mountain takes center stage with blueberries and fall coloured leaves showing in the foreground.

The Kinbasket Lake Reservoir was created in 1973 with the the construction of the Mica Dam near Revelstoke, B.C. The original smaller Kinbasket Lake was named in 1866 after Kinbasket, a chief of the Shuswap people.
