Lucille is a self-taught muralist, painter & long-time resident of the valley. Her work can be seen throughout the valley.

Inspiration for this painting came from Lucille’s family’s love of the back country, snowmobiling and the amazing views from Valemount in the winter. The painting illustrates one of the snowmobile areas near Valemount and has been described as “sledding in one of the most dramatic and stunning areas of the province.”

Valemount, B.C., Canada
2006

Inspiration for this panel came from living near the original site of the BC Express paddle wheeler docks on the Fraser River in Tete Jaune. The paddle wheeler operated from 1912-1919 going as far as Fort George up river to serve businesses and residents of the valley. It was decommissioned when the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway was completed connecting east to west.
